How to get a job on Craigslist

As you know by now, Craigslist is the most popular job site, by far, on the net. It is, however, a veritable jungle of information to try to sift through. Lucky for you (and me), this guy has put together a guide to get you through that gauntlet. Here is an excerpt:

“I recently ran a help-wanted ad on Craigslist. The position was a photo-editor job for a site that I dare not mention because some people will complain that I promote it too often. Macroing Your Way to Efficiency

If you have ever wondered if you could apply your incredibly knowledge of spreadsheet macro shenanigans to the broader world of windows, then there is an app for you. Webworker Daily has a great write up on just that.

“The common theme among these distractions is that they are things that are commonly found at home that you would not normally encounter in your place of work. There are good things and bad things about the average workplace - one positive thing is that the normal distractions you would face at home are not there, enabling you to (at least in theory) be more productive. Thus, in order to telecommute productively, one must find a way to achieve some level of concentration in an environment that is at first glance not so conducive to it.”
